Background

Dr Wijeyekoon graduated in medicine from Imperial College in 1997 having completed an intercalated BSc in Immunology and Microbiology. He trained in Rheumatology at a number of different London hospitals before completing a PHD in Molecular Biology at Oxford University. He is accredited in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine.

 

In additon to managing a variety of different rheuamtology conditions at East and North Herts NHS Trust, he is also clinical lead for the department's Biologics Therapy service, Electronic Databases and Research Programmes.
